YOUR KEYBOARD. MORE POSSIBILITIES.

Practise typing without watching the screen.

Reduce visual dependence by listening to the exercise and finding the keys by touch. Start with familiar words and an unhurried pace, then try short sections with your eyes closed.

Typing practice is available in English. Shortcut lessons and main navigation currently use German.

Prepare your audio first

In the typing tutor, enable Voice assistance (Sprachhilfe) and confirm you can hear the chosen voice. Set a comfortable volume, choose one word at a time and use a word target if you prefer no countdown.

Enable Blind-Modus

Blind-Modus hides the exercise text while supported dictation is active. It requires working speech. If playback stops or an error occurs, the text becomes visible again. Amharic practice currently keeps the text visible.

Stay in control

Use Enter in the typing field or Alt + R to replay the current section. Turn off Blind-Modus to return to visible practice. Take a break whenever listening or typing becomes tiring.

Understand the current limits

Eyes-closed exercise is a practice option, not a claim that the entire application can be used without sight. Full VoiceOver, NVDA and JAWS workflows still need manual verification; main navigation currently uses German.
